The AgileText® keyboard layout has big buttons with an easy to learn QWERTY-like layout that is fast, easy and intuitive to use. Try typing this familiar sentence with the same letter frequencies as English:

"The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog and then he escaped into the railway station"

Now compare your speed with the normal QWERTY pad of the same width below.
Naturally using a mouse will be slower than using a touchscreen or stylus on a touchpad

If you are not convinced already, try the QWERTY keyboard below

Now time your self with regular QWERTY entering the same sentence again:

"The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog and then he escaped into the railway station"

With a little practice it should be significantly faster too!

Note than for a Qwerty keyboard to fit the same form factor,
the 10 buttons in the top row need to be 60% of the width of the AgileText™keys
making the keys harder to find, move to and press accurately

You also have to move from side to side more, because two-handed Qwerty was designed over 125 years ago to stop the old mechanical typewriter keys from jamming by having common key sequences (e.g. A-N, I-S) on alternating left and right hands!
